I am interested on all aspects of Comparative Biology, Evolutionary Biology and Biodiversity Conservation, mainly on theoretical and applied issues of systematics and biogeography. My lab focuses on projects that aims understand patterns and processes which modeled the extant biodiversity. The main projects are on taxonomy, phylogenetic systematics, biogeography and conservation of South American dragonflies and damselflies.

My ongoing research is focused mayflies (Ephemeroptera) of the family Leptophlebiidae. I am Ph.D. candidate of the PPGEnto at UFPR. The goal of my study is investigate the taxonomy and phylogenetic relationships of the Ulmeritus–Ulmeritoides complex of genera.
